NEW AGE ANATOLIAN WOMAN

This serie, inspired in part by a poem written by Barış Manço in 2023, consists of illustrations depicting eleven women — in human, animal, and plant forms. The series was completed on 29 October 2023, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye.
The series narrates the struggle of eleven women who seek to transform an Anatolia that has grown hard-hearted and forgotten compassion, and to reclaim its ancient wisdom.
